Messengers

In Biblical Literature, God uses birds as signs and symbols—in essence, as messengers.  The series “Messengers” was birthed after spending a season studying fruit doves.  In being baptized by the John the Baptist out of obedience to the Father, the spirit in the form of a dove rested on Jesus.  Immediately a voice spoke from the heavens, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well please."  Considering the Holy Spirit I thought about the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22:  love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness , meekness faith, and temperance.  I further thought when we see these characteristics in others, it is as if the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove has rested on them.  I hope this special collection of birds entitled "Messengers" is the sign or message you need to grace your heart and space.
